Our Progress toward measuring program outcomes will demonstrate to donors the impact of their investment in United Way and the results that are obtained through those dollars. This process is becoming more essential in all grant requests. Increasingly, all funding sources are asking for the results we have and expect to achieve in the future. United Way of America has provided a road map and a plan for us to follow along with the local experts who assist us in guiding our Partner Agencies down this road. Our focus for 2008 will continue to be one-on-one and small group sessions to increase the skills of agency staff who will be collecting the data that will measure results and their program’s impact.  The program funding application process and the majority of the volunteers are online. This move to cyberspace will be a great way to begin housing program and outcome information electronically to assist in tracking program impact.
